So many health issues can be traced to our gut health. The idea behind a good khichadi is that it is easy to digest, nourishing without being heavy, and light enough to allow our bodies to detox very gently. Khichadi cleansing, healing, balancing, warming, and comforting (all descriptive words you want in a winter dish), and is simple, easy to digest (it actually soothes the intestinal wall, many consume it when they’re on a cleanse), and is a complete source of protein. Seriously, what more could you want?
In this workshop, I will show you three different ways to build on the basic recipe and create some amazing Khichadi dishes!
